Mushoku Tensei Season 3: Eris Training Edition PV and New Cast Details
The highly anticipated TV anime Mushoku Tensei III ~If I go to another world, I'll get serious~ is finally gearing up for its big return. Fans have been waiting quite a long time, and now it is confirmed that the broadcast will begin on TOKYO MX, BS11, and several other channels starting from July 5th. Along with this announcement, the second PV for the third season has been released, giving us a much-needed glimpse into what's coming next for our characters.
This latest footage from the 2nd PV of the TV anime Mushoku Tensei III ~I'll be serious when I go to another world~ shows that the production committee is really putting in the effort. The series continues to follow the journey of Rudeus Greyrat, and this time, the stakes are definitely going to be much higher than before.
Focus on the Eris Training Arc
The story for this new season actually starts from the 13th volume of the original novel series. The second PV, which dropped today, primarily focuses on the Eris Training Arc. This is a very important part of the story that readers of the original light novel have been looking forward to for ages. If you remember the first season, Eris and Rudeus were stuck together on the Demon Continent after that massive teleportation incident. They travelled across dangerous lands to return home as members of the adventurer party known as Dead End.
During their long journey, Eris slowly started falling in love with Rudeus. However, after they finally made it back, she decided to break up with him. It wasn't because she didn't care, but because she felt she wasn't strong enough to stand by his side. She left to train as a master swordsman, and this third season is going to show us exactly what happened to her during that time away.
New Characters and Cast Information
The new PV has also introduced some fresh faces and the talented voice actors joining the team. We have some really big names coming in this time:
- Haruka Tomatsu will be voicing Nina Farion, a skilled swordsman who shares a very fierce rivalry with Eris.
- Toru Inada is taking on the role of Gal Farion. He is one of the seven strongest people in the entire world and also happens to be Nina's father.
- The opening theme song for the third season is titled Keitsu no Uta, performed by Yuiko Ohara, and you can catch a bit of it in the trailer.

At its core, Mushoku Tensei ~If I go to another world, I'll get serious~ tells the story of a 34-year-old NEET man who gets a second chance at life. After being reincarnated into a fantasy world of magic and swords, he decides to use his old memories to live a better life as a boy named Rudeus. In this third season, we are expecting some really serious developments and adventures that will change his life yet again.
