Season 2 of the TV anime "Ao no Hako" based on the original work by Koji Miura will begin broadcasting on 28 TBS stations nationwide from October 4th. Teaser visual, teaser PV, and new cast have been released.

This was announced today, March 28th, at "AnimeJapan 2026" being held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. The teaser visual depicts Chinatsu with a gentle smile in front of the fantastic sunset from the observation deck. Also, in the teaser PV, there is a scene where Daiki and Chinatsu get closer little by little. At the end, a new character was introduced who said disturbing words to Chinatsu.

As a new cast member, Yoshino Aoyama has been decided to play the role of Yumika Kido. Yumika is Chinatsu's former teammate from their minibus days, and although she has a twisted personality, she has a gifted basketball talent and is a player that Chinatsu admires. After moving due to family reasons, he has become estranged from Chinatsu.

"Ao no Hako" is a youthful love story between Daiki Inomata, a first-year high school student on the badminton club who attends a sports-powerful school, Chinatsu Shikano, Daiki's senior and the ace of the basketball team, and the students surrounding them. It was also announced that the official web radio ``Hakoraji'' would be revived. The 14th time in total will be distributed on April 7th at 6:30 pm on the official "Ao no Hako" podcast and TMS official YouTube channel.
