The figures of Pluto and Atom that appear in Osamu Tezuka's ``Astro Boy'' will be released in August as the fifth installment of the ``Osamu Tezuka Characters Sofvi Collection,'' a series of soft vinyl figures supervised by Tezuka Productions.

The Inspiration Behind the New Figures
"Osamu Tezuka Characters Sofvi Collection 009 Pluto" is a three-dimensional item based on the image of Pluto's first appearance scene from the "Astro Boy" episode "The Largest Robot on Earth". "Osamu Tezuka Characters Sofvi Collection 010 Astro Boy: Mars Exploration Volume" is the first time the main character, Astro Boy, who is the leader of the Mars expedition, has been made into a soft vinyl version from the episode "Mars Exploration Volume".
Figure Details
Atom arrives on Mars and gives instructions to his subordinates. His hat is removable and his left hand is also movable. The total height is approximately 30cm for Pluto and 23cm for Atom. The figure will be packaged in a manga magazine-style package featuring excerpts from Osamu Tezuka's works printed entirely in opaque ink (white).
The price is 18,700 yen including tax for Pluto and 15,400 yen including tax for Atom. Pre-orders are being accepted at Ken Elephant directly managed stores and the official online store until 11:59 pm on May 18th.
