Satori Okita's new series ``White Line ni Expanden'' started in the May issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), released today, April 6th.

``White Line ni Detenten'' is a youth basketball story that begins with the encounter between Hiragi Bokujaku, who does not fit in well with his surroundings, and Osamu Mitaka, a yakuza. Suzume, who doesn't understand what is "normal" and spends his days alone at school, one day meets Mitaka, who is smoking a cigarette on the road. Suzume can't help but point out that "smoking is not allowed on the streets." The next day, Suzume meets Mitaka again at a basketball court in the city, and ends up being taught how to play basketball... The first edition was published in color at the beginning.
