In the 20th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), released today, April 13th, a new series ``Summer and Firefly Cage'' by Masayoshi Satosho of ``Autumn Leaves'' has started.
``Natsu to Keikago'' is a basketball story about Keiki Mizuhara, a boy who aims to compete in the national tournament in order to fulfill a promise he made to a childhood friend who transferred to his school. However, in a tournament in his third year of junior high school, Keiki's heart is broken when he plays against the genius Natsu Akane, who later wins the national championship and is chosen as the best player, so he quits basketball and goes to a high school where the basketball club is not active. At that high school, he somehow reunites with Natsu... A PV commemorating the start of the series has also been released.
In addition, in this issue, the first doll festival "JK Hero and the Retired Demon King" has been completed. Volumes 2 and 3 of the book will be released on June 4th. Weekly Shonen Jump issue 21, which will be released on April 20th, will feature a new series titled ``Class 2B Brave Destroyers'' written by Hideaki Sorachi of ``Gintama''.
