Takekuro's new series based on Nagi's original work, ``Kanna no Mahouroku'', started today in the April issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), released on March 9th.
"Unlocker Kanna's Magic Record" is a huge fantasy story in which a heretic "Unlocker" reveals the darkness of the magic world. 100 years ago, a wizard suddenly appeared and bestowed ``magic'' on people, and the world became dramatically richer. Haru, a girl who hates magic that has brought misfortune to her family, meets Kanna, a ``dismantler'' who is feared by the world as a heretic. After that encounter, Haru comes face to face with the ``sin'' of greedy magicians.
