Shotaro Ishinomori's new animation "Cyborg 009 Nemesis" will be released this summer. In addition to Yuichi Nakamura playing the role of the new character Nemesis 009/Graviton, staff and teaser visuals have been released.

The production of "Cyborg 009 Nemesis" was announced in July last year. Cyborg warriors have been protecting people from various enemies that threaten peace, but Nemesis, a group of nine cyborgs, appears who believe that they cannot lead the world to peace. Graviton, played by Nakamura, is a cyborg who leads Nemesis. A former special forces member from England, he lives with the goal of ``completely destroying evil'' and is able to manipulate gravity.
Nakamura's impression of the story is, ``Pairs of beings achieve the justice they believe in in their own way. You can think of 009 and the others as being just like Graviton and the others, and their relationship is like a mirror.Although they are cyborgs, they are very human and I think it's interesting.'' Also, regarding Graviton, he describes him as having a cold-hearted and quite sharp way of thinking. He sent a message to fans saying, ``Even if you have never touched the original 009, this is a work that you should definitely check out. Please check out the charm of this work, which has a hidden ephemerality.''
The director is Hideki Anbo. The script will be written by Atsuhiro Tomioka and Charatex, the character designs will be handled by sanorin, and the animation will be produced by Alecto. The teaser visual features the catchphrase "I am 009" and the words "generation change" in large letters. Also depicted is the new "009" Graviton, with his arms outstretched as if to show off his power, giving off a ruthless presence, and the silhouette of what appears to be the group he leads, Nemesis.
In addition, it has been decided that the opening theme song ``Whore Ga Tame'' sung by Kyoko will be released. Details will be announced at a later date.
