Yomiuri TV will start a new program "Teppan Asa Live Jutto!" from March 30th. Daisuke Nishijima created the show's character, Nebobee.
"Teppan Morning Live Jutto!" is a Kansai-based morning information program that covers the latest news from Kansai and the whole country. The mascot character, Nebobee, is a younger brother who admires the Yomiuri TV official character Shinobee, who was also designed by Nishijima, and was born with the desire to create a program that would be loved not only by adults but also by children. She doesn't like mornings, and is expected to be ``probably asleep or half-asleep'' when the program starts airing. He has his favorite chicken-shaped alarm clock, Kokemaru, whose design was also created by Nishijima. Other settings are also available, such as ``I live near Osaka Castle,'' ``I'm very curious and love listening to other people,'' ``I'm a glutton,'' ``My favorite food is pancakes,'' and ``I'm working hard on: being able to play Kendama.''
