Volume 1 of ``Do You Like Canned Food?'', written by Rai Yuzuki and illustrated by Tsumugu Takeuchi, was released today, March 2nd, by Houbunsha's FUZ Comics.
Mikan is a canned food bar quietly operating in a room in a run-down apartment. Hyodo, a company slave, returns home tired from work and thinks he opens the door to his house, but ends up in the wrong room and wanders into Mikan. It was a shop run by a female shopkeeper who was fascinated by canned foods and introduced them to a variety of canned goods and served dishes made with them. A variety of delicious canned dishes will be on display, including ``Nitamono Oyakodon'' made with canned tuna, a standard canned food, and ``Kamaage Shirasudon'' made with canned whitebait caught in Suruga Bay in Shizuoka.
