Fujiko F. Fujio's ``Doraemon'' large-scale event ``100% Doraemon & Friends in Tokyo'' opened today, March 27th, at Tokyo Dream Park in Ariake, Tokyo.
"Teacher's desk" area of "100% Doraemon Manga World Exhibition"
"100% Doraemon & Friends in Tokyo" is one of the largest events in the history of the work, covering the world of "Doraemon" including manga, anime, and long features. The event has been toured around the world, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Bangkok, and was held for the first time in Japan. The main content “100% Doraemon The ``Manga World Exhibition'' is comprised of nine areas, and you can enjoy exhibits that make the most of the space, such as the ``Teacher's Desk'' area that recreates Fujiko's workplace, the ``World of Ladybug Comics'' area that depicts famous scenes in 3D, the ``Nobita's Manga Room'' area that uses 3D projection mapping, and the ``Large Feature Doraemon'' area where original drawings and life-sized Doraemon are lined up.
Also, in the outdoor area "100% Doraemon Park", a giant Doraemon balloon measuring 12 meters in height, one of the largest in history, will be on display. A ``100% Blue Carpet'' was also set up, where Doraemon and his friends from Fujiko's works gathered together in formal costumes. In addition, in the product sales area, Doraemon keychains original to the Japan venue in the shapes of ``Sakura,'' ``Osumou,'' ``Onigiri,'' and ``Shiba Inu'' will be available for the first time. There is also a lineup of original books such as ``Tentomushi Comics ``Doraemon'' 100% Volume'' and ``100% Doraemon & Friends Complete Friend Encyclopedia''. “100% Doraemon & Friends in Tokyo” is available until September 30th.
