Volume 1 of ``A Rabbit Dreams of Happiness in the Belly of a Beast,'' a new work by Etsuko Tsuki, author of ``Outbrides - Interracial Marriage'' and ``I Reincarnated as Cinderella's Sister-in-Law, But I'm Doted on by Two Princes,'' was released by Hakusensha today, March 19th.
``Usagi Dreams of Happiness in the Belly of a Beast'' is a school fantasy romance starring Yukiho Usagura, a high school girl who lost her mother at a young age and lives without being accepted by her family. One day, Yukiho encounters three people who stand out in her class, Masamune Yuuki, Hachiki Akarou, and Shino Kumayoshi, fighting a mysterious monster. Yukiho was seriously injured while protecting Yukitsune. However, it turns out that Yukiho's flesh and blood is the ``excellent food'' for the foxes, and they begin to seek her out. The work is currently being serialized in Hana to Yume (Hakusensha).
Volume 1 also includes a bookstore purchase bonus, with TSUTAYA, Animate, and Melonbooks each distributing different illustration cards. A monochrome illustration paper is included as a common benefit at bookstores.
In Hana to Yume No. 8, which is also on sale today, ``The rabbit dreams of a happy dream at the bottom of the beast's belly'' appears in color at the front. A new chapter, ``Shinryu Gakuen'', is being developed.
