The ending theme song for the drama "Let's stop being close friends now?" based on the original work by Nitsuko Nitsuyama, has been decided to be "Shortcake" by singer-songwriter and singer Ross. Two types of preview videos using the same song and Second Backer's opening theme song ``Kimi no Return wo Waiteru'' have been released.

Drama Plot Overview
``Let's stop being friends now'' will start on MBS and others on June 25th. Regarding the ending theme song, ``Shortcake,'' Ross said, ``I created it with the image of the dangerous sense of distance that the characters feel and the desires that cannot be put into words. It's a slightly distorted, slightly heavy love that doesn't end with just being sweet and cute.I want you to love me with all of your messed up true feelings. This is a song filled with that kind of thick-tongued love.''

Main Characters and Storyline
In addition, preliminary scene photos and synopsis of the first episode have been released. Himari Shibasaki, a bright and straightforward 27-year-old woman who works at a PR company, has a strong sexual desire despite her neat appearance, and has broken up with her past boyfriends due to disagreements in their sex lives. Himari is worried that all her friends are getting married, and one day she invites Kazumi Hojo, her best friend from college and colleague at work, out for drinks and complains about it. In contrast to Himari, Kazumi has not had a lover for many years and has some leeway. However, when Himari laments, ``I want to meet someone with whom I'm compatible,'' Kazumi suddenly proposes, ``Do you want to try it out with me?''
