Gaku Kuze's ``Uramichi Onii-san'' has been adapted into a stage play and will be performed at Theater Sun Mall in Tokyo from July 8th to 12th. The role of the main character, Uramichi Omoteda, has been decided to be played by Ryuto Nishikai.
``Uramichi Onii-san'' is a comedy that depicts the daily life of Uramichi, a gymnastics brother on an educational program with two sides. This work originated on SNS and is currently being serialized in comic POOL. It was also made into an anime in July 2021. The stage visual released in conjunction with the announcement shows the characters gathered around a back alley. The stage play will be written by Vivi and directed by Go Mitsugai.
The role of Jagaike Teru will be played by Shin Nikaido, the role of Usahara Hikichi will be played by Nakata Ryota, the role of Kumagai Mitsuo will be played by Oumi Shoichiro, and the role of Tadano Shino will be played by Sawada Maria. The role of Takato Dekida is played by Takuteru Taguchi, and the role of Eddie Edado is played by Hiroren Shimada. Ryosuke Ogura will play the role of Kizumi Hanbei, Reiki Nakajima will play the role of Saito Kamimu, and Shuto Washio will play the role of Matahiko Nekota.
Kuse announced the stage adaptation on his SNS and posted an illustration. Also, on Ichijinsha's SNS, a message video of Saikai dressed as Uramichi has been released.
