AnimeJapan 2026: Cast of Ghost Concert Takes the Stage
The stage event for the highly anticipated TV anime Ghost Concert: missing Songs was recently held at the massive AnimeJapan 2026 convention on March 29th. Fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the main cast members who will be bringing this unique musical world to life. Taking the stage were Noriyuki Todera, who voices the lead character Seria Aiba, Rina Hidaka, playing the legendary Cleopatra, and Satoshi Hino, who portrays the character Yukiba. The atmosphere was quite electric as they shared their experiences working on this fresh project.

A World Without Music: The Premise of Ghost Concert
Scheduled to start broadcasting on April 5th, Ghost Concert: missing Songs is an original anime collaboration between KADOKAWA and the famous sound team Elements Garden, led by Noriyasu Agematsu. It is being developed as a spiritual successor in the "Song Battle Series" following the massive hit Senki Zesshou Symphogear. The story is set in a near-future setting where singing has been completely forbidden by law. Everything changes when our protagonist, Seria Aiba, accidentally hears a singing voice that shouldn't exist and encounters a mysterious "ghost." During the talk, Todera mentioned that he sang the opening theme song, Gama REQUIEMER, while staying fully in character as Seria. The music provided by Elements Garden is famous for being extremely difficult to perform, and Ghost Concert is no exception. Fujitera recalled practicing the "Possession Requiem" countless times, as it was actually the song used during the audition phase. Rina Hidaka also chimed in, describing the complex compositions as an "unknown sound" that required a lot of effort to master. Even with the challenge, the cast seems very proud of what they have achieved musically. The event wasn't all serious business, though. During a project corner titled "A world where ○○ is prohibited," the cast had to answer funny questions. When asked what they would do if they won 1 million yen in a world where saving money was illegal, Fujitera said he'd go abroad to see animals. Hidaka joked she would treat everyone to a meal so they would treat her back later, while Hino said he would still try to spend it very sparingly, which made the whole audience laugh quite a bit.
