The Inspiration Behind the New Arc

The short story written by Kohei Horikoshi for the fan book "My Hero Academia Ultra Age" of "My Hero Academia" has been adapted into a short animation. It will be released this summer as "I am a hero too."

Storyline and Characters

"I am a hero too" is the second anime adaptation of a newly drawn manga following "More". The story features Eri, a girl Deku rescued from the clutches of Mei Jisaki, aka Overhaul, the young head of the Shikoku Hassai-kai in the fourth season of the anime, ``Hero Intern/Shikoku Hassai-kai.'' Eight years after Deku's graduation, Eri, who said she wanted to sing when she was young and was carrying a guitar case on her back in the final episode, visits Yuei High School as a high school student. The story depicts him trying to reach his dreams once again.

It was also revealed that a "special performance" was being prepared. As a fan of the series, it's exciting to see Eri's character development and how her story unfolds in this new animation.
