A Heartwarming Scene
``Kaantala: The Descent of the Gods'', which will be released nationwide on June 5th in Shinjuku Piccadilly and other locations in Tokyo, is based on the ``Bhuta Khola'' ritual of bringing down the gods in Tulu Nadu, South India. The newly drawn illustration features a heartwarming scene in which the main characters Buddha and Jesus from ``Saint☆Oni-san'' and the god Panjururi from ``Kantara: Advent of the Gods'' enjoy tea time. The god Panjururi is a sacred spirit that protects the land and nature. He is known as someone who judges disputes and gives advice. Nakamura, who watched the movie, commented, ``The last 10 minutes were really good.''
Cultural Significance
The movie Kaantala: Advent of the Gods offers a unique blend of cultures, exploring the intersection of different beliefs and traditions. The illustration by Hikaru Nakamura adds to this cultural significance, showcasing a heartwarming moment of friendship and understanding between characters from different backgrounds.
