Kiryu Suruga’s Newest Manga "Samasase Demons" Finally Hits the Shelves

There is some really great news for manga lovers today! Kiryu Suruga's latest book, titled "Samasase Demons", has officially been released this March 23rd. Fans have been waiting quite eagerly for this one, and it is finally out for everyone to grab. The series has already built up a bit of a reputation during its serialization, and seeing it in a compiled book format is definitely exciting for the community.

Meet Moful: The Girl Who Just Wants a Easy Life

The story follows a very unique main character named Moful. Now, Moful isn't your typical hero; she is a girl who grew up being completely spoiled by the people in her village. Because of all that pampering, she actually developed a real talent for being, well, a bit of a scumbag. She doesn't want to work hard or do anything difficult; she just wants to live what she calls a "trash life" where everything is handed to her on a silver platter.

However, her easy-going days didn't last forever. The village chief eventually reached his limit after watching Moful’s shameless antics for so long. He worried that if she stayed, the morale of the entire village would just rot away. So, in a pretty drastic move, he decided to offer Moful as a sacrifice to a monster. It’s quite a dark turn, but honestly, it sets the stage for a very interesting journey in this Samasase Demons story.

A Deal with the Demon King’s Executive

Just when things were looking really bad for her, a man named Ladis appeared. He isn't just anyone; he is an executive working directly under the Demon King. Moful, true to her nature, immediately started begging for her life, promising to do absolutely anything if he would just save her. Ladis gave her an ultimatum: she must become his subordinate.

Now, this meant she had to stop being a human and transform into a monster. For most people, this would be a terrifying choice, but not for Moful. As soon as she realised that being a monster might mean getting pampered and taken care of again, she readily agreed without a second thought, shouting, "Yes! I'd be happy!" It is this hilarious and slightly twisted logic that makes Samasase Demons such a fun read for those who enjoy dark comedy.

Where to Buy and Special Benefits

If you are looking to pick up a copy, the series was originally serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper by KADOKAWA. For the hardcore collectors out there, several retailers are offering some very cool special benefits if you buy the book from them:

  • Gamers: They are offering exclusive illustrations and cards for early buyers.
  • Melonbooks: You can get limited edition clear files featuring Moful and Ladis.
  • COMIC ZIN: They usually provide high-quality art prints with their manga releases.

It is really nice to see Kiryu Suruga getting this kind of support for the physical release. If you like stories about scummy characters finding their way into supernatural situations, this is definitely a manga you should check out. Don't miss out on the chance to see how Moful handles her new life as a monster subordinate!
