Atsuki Kitamichi's ``Is DINKs' Totsuki Tooka 'The Woman Who Doesn't Give Birth' No Good?'' has been made into a drama starring Emma Miyazawa. It will start broadcasting on the TV Tokyo network at midnight on March 30th.

"Is DINKs' Totsuki Tooka 'The Woman Who Doesn't Give Birth' No Good?" is a social drama depicting the collapse of DINKs, a working couple who consciously do not have children or do not have children, after an unexpected pregnancy. The main character, Asa Kanazawa, and her husband Tetsuya lived a peaceful life as "DINKs," but the people around them sometimes asked bluntly, "Are you having kids yet?" Asa was hurt by those words, and relied on her husband's words, ``You don't need to have children.'' However, her husband, whom she trusted, betrayed her in a planned and cruel way by ``punching a hole in the contraceptive''... The original work has been published as a book by Bunkasha.
Miyazawa plays Asa Kanazawa, a freelance hairdresser who dreams of owning her own shop in the future. After getting married, she and her husband, Tetsuya, work together and choose a life without children, but due to her husband's betrayal, she ends up carrying an unwanted life in her body. Kodai Asaka plays Tetsuya Kanazawa, Asa's husband who secretly dreams of becoming a father despite choosing not to have children. Hiromitsu Kitayama will play the role of Seiji Ogata, who works at the same beauty salon as Asa and is also a single father struggling to raise his children.
