This year has seen the return of several major isekai titles, including Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4, Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4.According to DMM TV's latest ranking report, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has taken the top spot in both the episode completion and user count categories, making it the best isekai anime to air this year.
Ranking Methodology
The rankings were determined by evaluating the Spring Anime Viewing User Count, which indicates the overall viewing scale of a series, alongside the Spring Anime Episode Completion ranking, which tallies users who watched every single episode aired through June 30, 2026, without skipping any.
While Re:Zero Season 4 secured second place in the episode completion ranking and took the third spot in the user count category, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime dominated the overall list on both counts.
Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 Continues to Dominate
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is currently adapting the "Founding of the Nation" story arc from the original light novels, and its studio is airing the current season over five consecutive cours to cover the expansive storyline.
