A Heartbreaking Start: The Story of Ryo
The story follows a young man named Ryo, who is returning home after a brutal war. But his homecoming is not a happy one at all. He comes back with a body that is completely injured and crippled, having lost his limbs in the battle. Instead of getting love and support, his own family starts treating him like a heavy burden. It is really sad to see how someone who wanted to protect everyone now feels so helpless and alone in his own house.
In total despair, Ryo visits a local shrine, probably looking for some peace or a way out. While he is there, he hears a very mysterious voice that leads him to wander into a completely different, unknown world. This is where things get really interesting and supernatural. In this new world, Ryo realizes that his lost limbs have actually regenerated! But it’s not normal; he now has animal-like claws and thick body hair growing on him. It seems Jamei Yami is going to explore some very deep themes of identity and survival.
