Jun Mayuzuki's ``Kowloon Generic Romance'' reached its final episode in Weekly Young Jump issue 20 (Shueisha), released today, April 16th.
"Kowloon Generic Romance" is a mystery love romance centered around Reiko Kujirai, who works at a real estate agency in Kowloon, a town full of nostalgia. When Reiko learns that Hajime Kudo, a senior at work whom she has feelings for, has a fiancée who looks exactly like her, her lost memories, the true identity of her other self, and a huge secret hidden in the city of Kowloon are revealed. It has been serialized in Weekly Young Jump since 2019, and will be made into a TV anime and live-action movie in 2025.
In this issue of Weekly Young Jump, "Kowloon Generic Romance" appears in the center color. Congratulatory comments from Haruka Shiraishi, Tomokazu Sugita, Riho Yoshioka, and Koji Mizukami, who played the roles of Kujirai and Kudo in the TV anime and live-action movie, respectively, were also posted. In addition, it was announced that a perfume called ``Kowloon Generic Romance'' will be released soon. The final 12th volume of the book will be released tomorrow, April 17th.
