``You, Fireworks, and Promises'' is a youth love story set at Niigata's ``Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks'', which is considered one of Japan's three major fireworks festivals. The film is based on the novel by Kaori Madoka and will be released on July 17th.
Sato commented, ``I've always wanted to work in animation.'' When he took on the challenge of recording the dubbing, he expressed confusion as there were many points to be aware of that differed from live-action work, saying, ``It felt like I was overseas,'' but he also said, ``It's very rewarding and fun.'' Regarding his impressions when he read the script for the first time, he said, ``I felt that I had to firmly connect the idea of ``peace'' that is embedded in Nagaoka Fireworks, and there were parts that I really empathized with Natsume Makoto, so I thought it would be great if I could convey the warmth I felt at that time in my voice.'' In the video, he sends a message of gentle encouragement to people who are starting a new life this spring.
