The omnibus drama ``Strange -Junji Ito's strange story that keeps you awake at night'', which is based on all 13 works including Junji Ito's ``Koiwazurai with Death'', will be broadcast on TV Tokyo's ``Drama 24'' slot every Friday at 24:12 starting July 3rd.

The drama is a live-action adaptation of the feature-length novel ``Dead and Love'', which depicts the fortune-telling ``Tsujiura'' that is popular in a foggy town, and the madness and fear caused by a mysterious handsome boy. Other live-action titles included in the lineup include ``Genka Yashiki'', ``Rib Woman'', ``Bully Girl'', ``Face Thief'', ``Father's Heart'', ``Memory'', ``Used Record'', ``Pen Friend'', ``Oshikiri Idan'', ``Jibakusha'', ``Tomio Red High Neck'', and ``Gold Farewell''. The episodes were selected based on the common theme of ``everyday life suddenly being replaced by absurd fear.''
The director is Atsuhiro Yamada, who directed the movie ``It's Not Me,'' Yuta Shimozu, who won the grand prize at the ``1st Japan Horror Film Awards,'' and Ryota Kondo, who won the grand prize at the 2nd Japan Horror Film Awards and worked on TV Tokyo's horror ``TXQ FICTION'' series such as ``Looking for Kikue Ishinaga'' and ``I Apologize to the Iinuma Family.'' The chief scriptwriter has been decided to be Daisuke Hosaka, known for his work on the Village Series, including ``The Accident Property Zoku: Scary Floor Plans'' and ``Inunaki Village.''
The opening theme song is IVE's "JIGSAW". A visual drawn by Ito of IVE members and IVE's official character MINIVE was also released. The same visual will be used as the limited edition jacket for IVE's "LUCID DREAM". A video comment from IVE was also released.
