The latest installment of the special effects TV drama 'Kamen Rider' series, 'Kamen Rider Myce,' will begin broadcasting in September 2026. A teaser visual has recently been released.
The New Hero Emerges
'Kamen Rider Myce' is the latest work, with only the title and logo announced on April 3, 2026, the 55th anniversary of 'Kamen Rider'. In this latest information, it has been revealed that Myce is a mouse Kamen Rider.
It was also announced that, just like in the currently airing Kamen Rider Zets, he wears a transformation belt on his chest and uses the egg-like key item 'Ride Eggs' to transform.
It also turns out that Kamen Rider, a cat who is the natural enemy of rats, will appear. What kind of role will the mouse rider, who will be the first motif of the main character Kamen Rider, play?
Transformation Belt Showdown
In the teaser visual, Kamen Rider Myce's appearance was unveiled. It has a distinctive silver body and clear blue eyes, and there are various types of Ride Eggs floating around it. Standing behind them are two cat Kamen Riders. The red cat is Kamen Rider Maou, and the black cat is Kamen Rider Rido. Unlike Myce, he also wears a transformation belt around his waist.
I would also like to pay attention to the difference in belts. Myce wears the transformation belt 'Myce Driver' around his chest, and Rido wears the same belt around his waist. However, unlike Mice, it has a 'Hammerbone Buckle' attached to its belt.
Maou wears a 'Maou Driver' around his waist, and there are differences in the mounting position and parts composition. Expectations are high for the first chest vs waist transformation belt showdown in the history of the Kamen Rider series.
It was also announced that Kamen Rider Myce will appear on screen in the movie 'Kamen Rider Z: Goodbye Mission,' which will be released on July 24th.
