Princess Estelle is grieving as she prepares for an unwanted marriage. On the night before the wedding, Estelle is suddenly taken away by the Demon King to the demon world. Esther is frightened, but the Demon King tells her that he will make her his queen. He also says that he has been hearing Estelle's voice since she used to cry all the time, and declares that he will make her happy so that she won't cry anymore.
The Unlikely Romance
Even though Estelle suffers the culture shock of living in the demon world, she develops a love with the demon king... A pure romance between a beautiful and clumsy demon lord and an unfortunate and naive princess. As their relationship deepens, they face various challenges and obstacles, including the differences between their worlds and the expectations of those around them.
