The Storyline and Characters
This work is based on the novel ``Kiran'' written by Yoshimura and modeled on the ``Sankebetsu Seki Incident'', an animal attack incident that caused a great deal of damage. Kato, who also worked on works such as ``The Queen's Brand: The Night Shrine Maiden of the Land of Perdition,'' has created a manga about the tense battle surrounding a mare that attacked the people of the pioneer village of Sankebetsu in Hokkaido in 1919. On Comic Bunch Kai, a total of 100 pages are available for free, including the first episode, which is a prequel to the main story, in which the rogue hunter Ginshiro Yamaoka and others appear, and the second episode, where the story begins in earnest.
