The new series ``I Don't Need Aliens'' by Daisuke Watanabe, who wrote ``Gedo no Uta'', started today in Big Comic Superior No. 8 (Shogakukan), released on March 27th.

``We Don't Need Aliens'' is a work that depicts a world where the legal system has become meaningless due to the appearance of aliens. Amemiya, a young man who goes about his work as usual despite the loss of order, saves a woman who is about to be raped on the train. However, he was shocked to find that everyone but him was silently watching a crime being committed openly, and he felt vague anxiety about the future of the world... It is an ``everyday dystopian story'' in which human nature is laid bare. To commemorate the start of the series, newly drawn illustrations of the duck and tiger that appear in "Gedo no Uta" have also been released.
Also in the same issue, Shuzo Oshimi's ``The Sound of Blink'' is completed. The final 4th volume will be released on March 30th.
