New Series Launch in Comic Dengeki Daiouji: Horror and Romance Unleashed

There is some really interesting news for manga fans today. Two brand-new series have officially made their debut in the latest issue of Comic Dengeki Daiouji Vol. 151 (KADOKAWA), which is hitting the stands today, March 27th. Both of these stories are actually comic adaptations based on popular novels, so we already know the source material is solid. The first one is a chilling mockumentary titled "We're looking for a certain part-time job," illustrated by Nerno Daisuki and written by Akum Kurumu. The second one takes a completely different turn into the world of complicated school romance with "My Girlfriend and Impure First Love," written by Akeo and illustrated by Mimi Hanamiya.

A Spooky Part-Time Gig: Calling the Dead

If you like horror that feels a bit too real, then "We're looking for a part-time job" is definitely something you should check out. It is a mockumentary-style horror story that explores the very frightening and weird experiences people have while doing seemingly simple part-time jobs. The first episode is titled "Answering Machine," and it follows a worker who is offered a staggering 150,000 yen for a very strange task. All they have to do is call the contact numbers of deceased people from a provided list and leave a specific message on their answering machine: "Are you really dead?" It sounds simple enough, but the psychological toll and the eerie atmosphere of calling the dead for money is just plain creepy. This kind of exploring my guilty first love with another girl's girlfriend: a deep dive into the anime and manga series might be a far cry from horror, but Dengeki Daiouji is clearly trying to cater to all kinds of moods this month.

Complicated Relations in My Girlfriend and Impure First Love

On the other side of the spectrum, we have a story that is all about the messy emotions of high school life. The plot of "Girlfriend and Impure First Love" kicks off when two girls, Yuki Haijima and Tsukasa Aomi, meet in a supplementary class classroom. Right from the start, Haijima finds herself totally at the mercy of Aomi, who acts strangely close to her for no apparent reason. Things get even more intense when Haijima, while heading home, accidentally witnesses Aomi kissing another female student named Reira Sayama in a public park.

As if that wasn't enough drama, Haijima runs into Aomi again at a different location almost immediately after. It is during this encounter that Aomi makes an absolutely outrageous request that will surely change their relationship forever. If you are into exploring my guilty first love with another girl's girlfriend: a deep dive into the anime and manga series, this new serialization is going to be right up your alley with its twists and turns.

Why You Should Follow These Adaptations

  • Unique Genres: From mockumentary horror to intense GL-leaning romance, these series offer a fresh break from typical tropes.
  • Based on Novels: Since they are adaptations, the plot is already well-structured and paced.
  • Top-tier Art: Both Nerno Daisuki and Mimi Hanamiya bring a very distinct and beautiful visual style to their respective series.

It is quite a big day for Comic Dengeki Daiouji readers. Whether you want to be scared out of your wits by a spooky job or get caught up in a web of "impure" first love, this issue has it all. Make sure to grab your copy and dive into these new worlds!
