It has been decided that a theatrical compilation of the original anime "Maebashi Witches" will be produced. A special video has been released.
"Maebashi Witches", which was broadcast from April to June 2025, is an original anime produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks' in-house production studio, SUNRISE Studios. Set in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, the story depicts the growth of five local high school girls who become apprentice witches. The director was Junichi Yamamoto, and the series composition and script were written by Erika Yoshida. The production decision for the theatrical compilation was announced today, March 21st, at the ``TV anime ``Maebashi Witches'' new costume unveiling event in Keyaki Walk Maebashi'' held at Keyaki Walk Maebashi in Gunma. Also, at the BS11 booth of "AnimeJapan 2026" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo on March 28th, a singing event featuring Maebashi Witches will be held for one hour from 10:30. Furthermore, it has been decided that it will be rebroadcast on TOKYO MX and BS11 from April 5th. Advance applications for the second round of play guides for the live show "STRAIGHT! REACH!! CHEER!!!" to be held at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) in Tokyo on May 24th and at Zepp Osaka Bayside in Osaka on May 31st are being accepted until March 22nd.
