Lumber Roll 08, a little manga and literature magazine run by Gakuto Moriizumi, Tomozumi Yasunaga, and Yuka Okuyama, will be published in late April.

The special theme of “Lumber Roll 08” is “travel”. In addition to the three organizers, the manga will be written by Masumi Hara, who is also known as a singer-songwriter, Meg Mileland of ``Under the Palm Tree'', Kiriko Kubo, and Keiko Fukuyama. Also participating are Yasushi Machida, a literary writer, and Michiru Sasano, a former Tokyo Shonen singer-songwriter and "eternal activist." The book design was handled by Saki Soda, a graphic designer who is also active as an illustrator.

From April 29th to May 11th, a joint exhibition ``Each Journey, Everyone's Journey'' will be held at Twililight in Sangenjaya, Tokyo. Five writers from the 08th issue's writing team, Hara, Meg Mileland, Yasunaga, Mori Izumi, and Okuyama, participated and exhibited their manga manuscripts and original illustrations. Exhibits will also be for sale. On the final day, May 11th, a talk event will be held with Sasano, Meg Mileland, Yasunaga, Mori Izumi, and Okuyama. Tickets are on sale at Peatix.
Lumber Roll will also be opening a store at the Literary Flea Market Tokyo 42, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on May 4th. On the day of the event, organizers Mori Izumi and Yasunaga will be participating and selling books directly.
