A collaboration between the anime “Dragon Ball Z” based on the original work by Akira Toriyama and Sanuki udon specialty store Marugame Seimen will be held at Marugame Seimen stores nationwide from March 3rd. Seven projects are prepared depending on the number of Dragon Balls.
During the campaign period, the Marugame Seimen logo will change to a collaboration-only logo. The design looks like a combination of the regular Marugame Seimen logo and the Kamesen-ryu mark that appears in Dragon Ball. Collaboration menu items such as ``Dragon Ball Udonatsu (chocolate flavor),'' ``Sendame-style tempura,'' and ``Genkidama rice ball with soft-boiled egg'' will also be sold. ``Dragon Ball Udon Natsu (Chocolate Flavor)'' is made by mixing carrot paste into the dough to recreate the orange color of Dragon Ball. In addition, instead of the usual 5 pieces, we offer 7 pieces to match the number of Dragon Balls. By attaching the included star-shaped sugar candy to Udo Natsu, we made it look more like Dragon Ball.
During the campaign period, the ``Udon bill'' that is normally distributed for every order of one bowl of udon will be available in a limited edition design in collaboration with ``Dragon Ball Z.'' A total of 32 designs, including two secret designs, were lined up over a period of time, with the first edition running from March 3rd to 16th and the second edition running from March 17th to April 6th. In addition, if you purchase a bowl of udon and an eligible collaboration product, you will receive original goods as a gift. In the first round, if you order a bowl of udon and "Sendame style tempura", you will receive a "Marugame Seimen Dragon Ball Z Original Clear Sticker" of all five types, and in the second round, if you order a bowl of udon and "Genkidama Omusubi with soft-boiled egg", you will receive one randomly selected "Marugame Seimen Dragon Ball Z Original Pick" of all five types.
We are also running a campaign using receipts where you can win original goods through a lottery. The purchase of a bowl of udon and ``Sendame-style tempura'' or ``Genkidama rice ball with soft-boiled egg'' or the purchase of ``Dragon Ball Udon Natsu (chocolate flavor)'' each counts as one bite, and you can apply for a lottery based on the number of bites calculated from the purchase receipt. 200 people will receive the ``Marugame Seimen Dragon Ball Z Original Tote Bag,'' which can be submitted with 2 entries, and 100 people will receive the ``Marugame Seimen Dragon Ball Z Original Udon Oke,'' which can be submitted with 7 entries.
In addition, the Marugame Seimen official X account (@UdonMarugame) will also hold a "Dragon Ball Udon Natsu Photo Contest". If you follow the official UTA account and post a photo of "Dragon Ball Udon Natsu (Chocolate Flavor)" with the hashtag "#Dragon Ball Udon Natsu" and quote the post eligible for the campaign, 5 people will be entered into a lottery to win a set of all 30 types of "Dragon Ball Z Udon Bills" and 2 secret types.
In addition, for a limited time from March 3rd to 29th, Marukame Seimen Shinjuku Gyoenmae store will be open as a special pop-up store, ``Limited Time Marukame Seimen Shinjuku Gyoenmae Store.'' All walls are decorated with collaborative designs, and inside the store you can enjoy the world of Dragon Ball Z, such as large panels depicting Son Goku and Son Gohan and a wall inscribed with the teachings of the Master Master School.
