Mayu Shinjo 30th Anniversary Exhibition: Manga, Music, and Live Culture

The exhibition event "Mayu Shinjo 30th Exhibition -Kai♡Kan♡Boy♡Child (KAI-DAN)-" commemorating Mayu Shinjo's 30th anniversary as a painter will be held at GoFa in Tokyo from April 25th to May 17th.

"Mayu Shinjo 30th Exhibition -Kai♡Kan♡Boy♡Child (KAI-DAN)-" is an immersive exhibition that reconstructs the charm of manga through spatial production. With special cooperation from LDH, a space will be developed that incorporates entertainment elements and fuses manga, music, and live culture. At the venue, in addition to the original drawings of Shinjo's works, illustrations drawn by Shinjo and artists belonging to LDH will be on display. LIL LEAGUE's Aoi Namba and THE JET BOY BANGERZ's YUHI are scheduled to be drawn. There will also be a reproduction exhibition of his home atelier in Karuizawa, a photo spot, and 30th anniversary merchandise for sale. An autograph session is also planned as a related event.

Tickets will be on sale at Lawson Tickets from 7pm today, March 30th. In addition to date and time specified admission tickets, premium tickets with doujinshi will be sold. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you will need a ticket to specify the date and time, but on weekdays, you can also enter with a same-day ticket. A total of four types of weekly art cards are available as a special admission benefit for visitors.

Shinjo made her debut in 1994 with ``I want to be dyed in your color,'' which was published in the February 14 issue of Shoujo Comic (Shogakukan). Representative works include ``Kaikan♥phrase'' and ``Love Celebrity.''
