"It was the love of the cold and merciless ice prince that saved the scapegoat" is a work by comic Spira, an otherworldly fantasy label. This is a love fantasy in which Katrina is sent to a frontier territory in place of her sister-in-law who causes trouble at a night party, and she develops a love with Clarence, the prince who rules the frontier territory.
