The Story Begins
Set in a world where a mysterious particle known as Mobius Dust has given some children special abilities called Ramus, the story follows high school student Araki and his friends as they navigate their restricted lives in the town of Shinkatsushika. The children find solace in a game that utilizes their Ramus abilities, competing against each other in teams.
However, their lives take a dramatic turn when they are approached by Dr. Yuda, a researcher who claims to be an enthusiastic fan of their gaming skills. The doctor proposes an experiment that could potentially allow the children to leave their town, but at what cost?
