Hina Suzuki has been chosen to play the role of Miharu Nakamura, the main character of the TV anime "The Stepmother and Sister-in-Law" based on the original work by Otsuji. Additionally, Yu Serizawa and Yuka Nukui will play the roles of sisters-in-law Marika and Arisa, respectively.

``The Mother-in-Law and the Sister-in-Law Who Don't Snore'' is a heartwarming comedy that depicts Miharu Nakamura, the illegitimate child of a prominent family, who is taken in by the main family after her mother's death. Miharu was prepared for what kind of treatment she would receive as a child of a concubine, but what was waiting for her was a kind and caring mother-in-law and sister-in-law... It was announced along with the anime that Kujira would play the role of Kozo Teru, who is the mother-in-law.

The anime “The Stepmother and Sister-in-Law Who Don’t Snore” will be broadcast in 2026. NEWON will be in charge of animation production.
