From “PAX National Happiness Administration”
"PAX National Happiness Administration" is a buddy mystery that depicts a near-future Japan where "happiness" is quantified. In an era when it has become possible to measure people's happiness, happiness has come to be visualized through the numerical value ``PAX'', which shows an individual's happiness score from a huge amount of daily data. The National Happiness Promotion Bureau, commonly known as the Happiness Bureau, was conducting national happiness monitoring using PAX. Meanwhile, Momochi, a local civil servant, is transferred to the Special Response Office of the Happiness Bureau and teams up with Muwatari, a former police officer. The first edition was published in color at the beginning.
