A new YouTube animation project, ``Matsuken Anime,'' based on Ken Matsudaira's song ``Matsuken Samba'' has been announced. Distribution is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2026.

"Matsuken Anime" is a project that reconstructs Matsudaira's image as a modern character IP and develops it as animation content mainly on YouTube. We are planning to produce mainly short animations. It has been revealed that the aim is to provide bright and positive entertainment through a story of good, punishment, and evil, with the theme of the "fuzzy feelings" that people living in modern society feel in their daily lives. Tatsunoko Productions is also participating in the production committee.
At "AnimeJapan 2026" held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28th and 29th, the promotional video of "Matsuken Anime" will be released for the first time at the Tatsunoko Production booth. You can experience the world view and character expressions ahead of the final version.
