Pokémon Company Apologizes for Launching Collaboration with Van Gogh Museum
The Pokémon Company has apologized for the launch of the collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
The collection in honor of the museum’s 50th anniversary featured Pokémon items (plush, figures, accessories, cards, etc.) inspired by the Dutch painter’s style.
However, the items sold out quickly. Fans criticized the way online sales took place.
Without an official announcement, the action of scalpers who used bots to detect the start of sales was facilitated.
Fans also report that even the museum exhibition itself was affected because there were many people looking for items to resell.
The event was scheduled to take place between September 28th and January 7th.

Episode 17 of the second season, titled “Right and Wrong” adapted the character’s moving death scene.
Shortly before the premiere on Japanese TV on Thursday (23), the actor made a farewell post on his profile on X (formerly Twitter).
“It’s November 23rd (Japan Labor Day and Thanksgiving) at 11:56 pm. Please don’t miss it. I’m thrilled that Jujutsu Kaisen and Nanami are loved throughout Japan and around the world…” declared Tsuda.
The actor repeated the voice recording in the fight scene against Haruta to ensure the result was perfect.
After the episode aired, he posted a short thank you to the audience: “Thank you for watching Jujutsu Kaisen! Thank you for supporting Nanami Kento!”.

Recently, the creator of Vinland Saga, Makoto Yukimurawas in Canada was a guest at the Toronto International Authors Festival (TIFA) and at a Japan Foundation event.
In an interview with Anime Trending, in addition to revealing that he had to change the beginning of the story to obtain approval from the publisher and detail his historical research process, the mangaka commented on what readers can expect from the end.
