A series of disappearances that cause a stir in the world. There are rumors that the disappeared people are reincarnated in another world, but the main character, Yoshimichi, believes that such a thing is impossible. Even though he had no interest in it, Yoshimichi was tricked by Otogi, a female classmate who wanted to go to another world, and he performed a reincarnation ritual and ended up going to another world. The place Yoshimichi arrives at is a different world where order has been disrupted due to reincarnated people rampaging as heroes. Moreover, the soul of the Demon King resided within Yoshimichi.
