The summer anime season is just around the corner, and one of the most anticipated shows is Sayonara Lala, a mermaid tale of love and loss. The synopsis and preliminary scene cuts of the first episode have been released, giving us a glimpse into the world of Lala, a mermaid princess who falls in love with a human.
The Story of Lala
Lala, who grew up loved by her father, the king of the sea, and her sisters, one day falls in love with a human prince who lives on the ground. She drinks a medicine given to her by the witch Grace, transforms into a human, and travels to earth. However, it was a contraindicated drug that would turn into bubbles and disappear unless she found "true love."

The anime features a star-studded cast, including Kana Hishikawa as Lala, Nana Kawaishi as Mari Otsu, Rika Fukami as Grace, Ayumu Murase as Luka, Tomotaka Ohno as Shoya Otsu, Mitsuaki Madono as Makoto Otsu, Nanae Sumitomo as Man Otsue, Masaki Terasoma as Rowan, Minami Tsuda as Lisa, and Kazuomi Yamamoto as Kota. The anime is directed by Takashi Koide, with series composition by Anna Kawahara, character design by Shiori Tani, and music by yuma yamaguchi. 
Broadcast Information
