The musical ``School Idol Musical'' from the ``Love Live!'' series will be held to commemorate the series' 15th anniversary. It will be performed at the New National Theater, Tokyo from September 19th to 26th.
The "School Idol Musical", which has been performed in 2022, 2024, and 2025, has an original story depicting the youth school drama of 10 girls. A drama based on the musical was also aired in 2024.
A total of 18 cast members have been released at once. Marina Horiuchi will play Rurika Tsubaki, the daughter of the president of Tsubakisaki Girls' High School, a prestigious preparatory school in Hyogo that boasts national level academic ability and tradition, and Karin Miyamoto will play Anzu Takizawa, the daughter of the president of Takizakura Girls' High School, a popular and famous high school in Osaka that has an entertainment idol club.
The double cast includes Nanami Asai who will play Rurika's childhood friend Yuzuha Sumeragi, and Ayaka Yasumoto and Hana Minamino who will play Misuzu Wakatsuki, the head of the Takizakura Girls' Academy Entertainment Course Idol Club. Julia An will play the role of Yukino Hojo, a junior who is attached to Rurika, Yuna Nakamura and Yui Oikawa will play the role of Toa Kurusu, who admires Anzu and became a member of the entertainment course idol club, and Kiyoshi will play the role of Hikaru Amakusa, who is a member of the basketball club. Otono Inoue will play the role of Rena Suzuka, a member of the entertainment course idol club who loves making puns, Sugo Yura will play the role of Maya Mikasa, who is particularly knowledgeable about anime and idols among the Tsubaki Saka members, and Yuka Murayama will play the role of Sayaka Harukaze. In addition, Yuhi Aono will play the role of Madoka Tsubaki, the president of Tsubaki Sakihana Girls' High School, and Sayaka Okamura will play the role of Kyoka Takizawa, the president of Takizakura Girls' High School.
This musical, which will be held as a 15th anniversary performance, will use a revolving stage for the first time since the first performance. As part of the "curtain call special stage" of the main performance, there will also be a "Cultural Festival & After-Event Special Performance" where you can enjoy singing and dancing by the cast. At the Senshu Raku performance on September 26th, Senshu Raku tickets for the main performance and the "Cultural Festival & After-Event Special Performance" will also be sold, and will also come with a limited edition novelty postcard. The first lottery sale of tickets will begin today, April 10th, on E+.
