Manabu Yashiro's ``TANK CHAIR'' will be made into a TV anime. It will be broadcast in the fall of 2026 under the title "TANK CHAIR." In addition, a teaser PV, teaser visual, and scene cuts were released.
``TANK CHAIR'' is a violent action series currently being serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius (Kodansha). Nagi Taira, the most powerful assassin, protects her younger sister Shizuka Taira from a bullet, causing her to lose consciousness, but she has a special constitution that allows her to regain consciousness for a short time when faced with murderous intent. Believing that his brother's extraordinary murderous intent will lead to his brother's complete awakening, Shizuka begins rehabilitation by pitting his brother in a modified wheelchair against powerful enemies.
The TV anime will be directed by Yoshihira “Tady” Naohiro. Also responsible for series composition and scriptwriting. Hiroaki Ando is also in charge of the director and screenplay. Character design is by Yuuki Moriyama, production design is by Kazuma Teshigahara, music is by Masaru Yokoyama, and animation production is by Polygon Pictures.
An official fan community "TANK CHAIR FANCLUB" has also been established on Discord.
