``The neat and pretty beautiful girl I transferred to was my childhood friend who I used to hang out with, thinking she was a boy'' is a romantic comedy based on Hibariyu's novel. The story begins when Hayato Kirishima, who transferred from the countryside to a high school in the city, reunites with Haruki Nikaido, who he thought was a boy when he was a child, but has grown up to be a pretty and beautiful girl. The third teaser visual, decorated with cherry blossoms in full bloom, depicts Haruki on her way to school. The new PV also includes a monologue written by Hibariyu that explores Haruki's feelings.

The TV anime is scheduled to be broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, and other channels from July. Ikumi Hasegawa will play the role of Haruki Nikaido, and Shunichi Toki will play the role of Hayato Kirishima.
