The teaser trailer for the new anime series 'THE ONE PIECE' based on Eiichiro Oda's 'ONE PIECE' has been released, giving fans a glimpse into the fresh take on the beloved story.

The New Adventure Begins
The story begins with the introduction of Gold Roger, the 'pirate king' who has acquired 'wealth, fame, power,' and everything in this world, and depicts Monkey D. Luffy rowing out into the sea of adventure in search of 'One Piece,' along with the straw hat entrusted to him by Red-Haired Shanks. The main characters such as Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji are also unveiled. At the end of the video, a line is included, showing Luffy firing a 'Gum-Gum Pistol' at the owner of the nearby sea.
Production Team and Release
The role of Luffy will be played by Mayumi Tanaka, the same as in the anime 'ONE PIECE'. Tanaka commented, 'I was a little nervous about starting over at this age, but when I actually tried it, I made some new discoveries and was able to play Luffy with a new mindset. I really enjoyed dubbing the role, so I hope a lot of people will see it.' In addition, additional main staff members were also announced. 'THE ONE PIECE' is a new series that will be adapted into an anime again from the first episode of the 'East Blue' edition of 'ONE PIECE.' Produced by WIT STUDIO, directed by Masashi Kozuka, deputy director by Hideaki Abe, and series composition by Takashi Kishimoto. It will be distributed on Netflix from February 2027.
