It has been decided that Makiburo's novel ``The Villain's Lady'' will be made into a TV anime and will be broadcast in 2027. The teaser visual, teaser PV, and cast information for the same work have been released.
The visual depicts Remilia holding a single red rose in a scene that resembles a broken mirror. The teaser PV starts with a childhood scene of Emi, the reincarnated person who possessed Remilia. Remilia, who was inside her, appeared and declared, ``In my name...I cannot lie, admitting to a crime that Remilia Rose Graupner did not commit.''

Miyuki Sawashiro plays the role of Remilia Rose Graupner, the main character of ``The Villain's Lady'' and the villainess of the otome game. Rie Takahashi has been chosen to play the role of Emi, who was reincarnated as her beloved Remilia after losing her life in a traffic accident. Staff information has also been released, with the director being Kaoruhisa Iida, series composition and screenplay by Hiroyuki Yoshino, character design by Reiko Nagasawa, and music by Shuji Katayama. The anime will be produced by ROLL2.
Makiburo sends a message to readers, saying, ``Everyone...! Let's tie together!!'' Additionally, character designer Mai Murasaki and Nazuna Shiraume, who was in charge of comicalization, sent in illustrations to celebrate the anime adaptation. Sawashiro commented, ``I want to look at her with the same love that Remilia feels for Emi.'' Takahashi also expressed his enthusiasm, saying, ``Emi's determination to put her feelings into words and her preparation to support Remilia-sama in front of the screen are perfect!''
We have also decided to exhibit at "AnimeJapan 2026" which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28th and 29th. Postcards using teaser visuals will be distributed at the KADOKAWA booth and Infinite booth. The Infinite booth will also exhibit works and sell goods.
``The person inside the villainess'' is a story about Remilia, the villainess of an RPG-type otome game, who hunts down the heroine of the game who has framed her for the sake of Emi, the reincarnated person who resides in her body. The comic adaptation by Shiraume was completed in May 2025.
