The first set of goods to be sold at Mai Tanaka's ``Yokai School Teacher Begins!'' exhibition event has been announced.
The Yokai School Teacher Begins! Museum will be held at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo from May 22nd to 31st, Kobe Marui in Hyogo from June 19th to July 5th, and Hakata Marui in Fukuoka from July 31st to August 9th. The first lineup of goods includes a "Maru Mascotto" created based on Tanaka's original illustrations, and four types of tabletop-sized canvas boards. There are five types of "Marumasukotto": Seimei Abe, Mikoto Sano, Principal, Ranmaru Karasuma, and Akira Takahashi. In addition, prior to its release at the event, canvas boards will be sold in advance at the Square Enix booth at "AnimeJapan 2026", which will be held on March 28th and 29th.
``I Begin as a Teacher at Yokai School!'' is a comedy that begins when Abe Haruaki, a crybaby and clumsy new teacher, becomes the teacher of his dreams, but is transferred to Hyakki Gakuen, a school where monsters from all over Japan gather. It is serialized in Monthly G Fantasy (Square Enix) and will be made into a TV anime in 2024.
