The World is Dancing Anime Episode 2 Preview Released
The synopsis and preliminary scene cut of the second episode of the summer anime 'The World is Dancing', which will begin broadcasting on July 9, 2026 (Thursday), 'You Have a Body, Don't You?', have been released.
The Story So Far
'The World is Dancing' is a TV anime based on the 'Noh' manga by Kazuto Mihara published by Kodansha's 'Morning.' Set in an era of turmoil where conflict is constant, Oniyasha, a beautiful boy with a strong curiosity, meets people, laughs, cries, and faces his own pathos as he forms a new dance for living in an eternal world. A dancing story that continues over 600 years unfolds, as it may have happened when Zeami, who later created Noh, was called Oniyasha.
The film will be directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi, who has worked on films such as 'Knitting a Fune', 'Bakuten!!', and 'Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare', while the animation production will be handled by Cypik, who also worked on 'Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray' and 'The Summer When Light Died.'
The cast includes Yumiri Hanamori as Oniyasha, Kamiya Tsuchiya as Ishiya, Maaya Uchida as Kogane, Rumi Paku as Masujiro, Takahiro Sakurai as Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kan'ami, and Matsu as Inuou. Yoji Ta, Nobuo Tobita as Yoshiki Nijo, Mamiko Noto as Nariko, Inori Minase as Chiharu, Miyuki Sawashiro as Shirabyoshi, Haruki Ishitani as Jujigoro, and Hazuki Seto as Satsuki will also appear.

Fascinated by 'Yoi', Oniyasha wants to be able to dance like that himself, so he starts going to Shirabyoshi with his friends Kogane and Ishiya.
After a certain encounter with her, Oniyasha's dance changes, but it is not just Oniyasha's dance that changes.
The second episode of the summer anime 'The World is Dancing', 'You Have a Body, Don't You?', will be broadcast sequentially on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and other stations from July 9th (Thursday).
