The Thunder 3 Anime Event in Shibuya
A street event commemorating the start of broadcasting of the TV anime "Thunder 3" was held in Shibuya, Tokyo on July 8th. Under the catchphrase "Lightning warning in Shibuya," a group of 33 school students appeared in the city looking for Futaba, the younger sister of the main character, Pyontaro, and jacked up the entire Shibuya area.

Furthermore, in response to the title of the work, "Thunder," comedy duo Kaminari also appeared and performed a special story that incorporates the world view of the work. Even unexpected microphone troubles were turned into laughter, and the audience got excited.
The Story of Thunder 3
"Thunder 3" is a TV anime based on the manga by Yuki Ikeda, which began serialization in Kodansha's "Monthly Shonen Magazine" in 2022. Its story development and drawing skills quickly became a hot topic on social media, and it was nominated for the "Next Manga Award 2022" with unprecedented speed.

The story begins with the "Small 3," a group of 3 members, Pyontaro, an unattractive junior high school student, and his classmates Tsubame and Hiroshi, searching for his lost little sister, Futaba. It is an action-adventure work that takes a turn from a peaceful daily life and unfolds on a grand scale beyond imagination.

On this day, a group of 33 students wearing yellow sashes appeared around Shibuya Station. We distributed original lightning-shaped "Thunder 3" fans to promote our work.

Passersby received original lightning-shaped fans, took photos and videos with their smartphones, and many people were fascinated by the unusual and impressive sight.
Kaminari's Special Performance
After completing the street search, the comedy duo Kaminari (Manabu Takeuchi & Takumi Ishida) appeared at the MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 entrance event space. The special story, which started in the middle of Shibuya, quickly attracted a crowd of people, with shoppers and tourists stopping to watch.

As for the story, we will introduce the story of "Thunder 3". Manabu explained the work by saying, "Pyontarou's younger sister Futaba gets lost, and the three friends go to find her." Then, she says, "So now I'm giving the orders and asking them to search Shibuya." Takumi then says, "Don't make middle school students work on weekdays! Let them go to school!" with a lively tut, making the audience laugh from the beginning.

In the first episode of the anime "Thunder 3" starting tonight, as the title suggests, a shocking development of "thunder class" awaits. The bold street promotion that took over Shibuya on the day of the broadcast got off to a spectacular start, attracting the interest of passersby who were unaware of the work.
