Tsunami Unno's Kroema has reached its final episode in the August issue of Kiss (Kodansha), released today, June 25th.
The Story of Kroema
Kroema is a story about Kuroe Kanna, a rich man who lives alone in an old Western-style mansion, and Ema Yoi, a woman who has lost both her job and her love. The story depicts the lives of two people whose circumstances and values don't mesh, but who somehow end up together, and the people who visit them.
The New Series: Marriage Hunting for a Daughter of a Fallen Peerage
In this issue, Asahi Fuji's new series Marriage Hunting for a Daughter of a Fallen Peerage also starts. Set in the middle of the Meiji era, the Horikawa sisters, members of a fallen aristocracy, meet a young man named Seijiro Mizuno at a festival in Tokyo. His younger sister, Michiko, is attracted to him, but his older sister, Kazuko, opposes their relationship due to the difference in their social status. Meanwhile, Seijiro's older brother Naohiro shows up... This is a romantic love comedy about two couples.
Upcoming Releases
The final 5th volume of Kroema will be released on August 12th. Hana Sugisaki and Mikako Tabe, who will star in the live-action drama, also appeared on the cover and front page.
