Volume 1 of Tamaki Otoko's ``Slave Heart'' was released by Square Enix today, April 27th. The story depicts the distorted master-slave relationship between a boy who lives a life hiding the fact that he is a vampire, and a priest who claims to have eaten his heart.

Mist, a young vampire boy who wants to live as a human, is chased and captured by Alba, a priest who exterminates monsters. Alba tells us that she ate the heart of the vampire Mist in order to test the ``method for humans to enslave monsters'' that was written in an old book. Its potency is immense, and Mist sucks Alba's blood and ends up working as his pawn. Currently being serialized in Monthly G Fantasy (Square Enix).
